I can understand Governor Rhee Chang-yong's situation regarding not raising interest rates, but still

Setting aside the fact that hypocrisy is just basic human nature,
isn't he honestly deserving of being cursed out for claiming through YouTube and press releases that "it's not a liquidity issue, it's because of retail investors' overseas investments"?
Didn't he even tell a reporter, "If you're so good at it, you go be the BOK Governor"?
If he's going to talk such trash, he should at least do his job well.
He does a terrible job and then just leaves after nothing but talking big.
