Are there many people who don't like pop songs?

I only listen to really mainstream music.
I don't like niche music.
I know famous pop songs, but I don't go out of my way to look for them.
When I see young people's profile music, there are many pop songs I've never heard of.
Do general members of the public listen to them a lot?
I just don't relate to pop songs, so I don't listen to them much.
