Does adding Italian parsley to pasta make a big difference??

I cook this at home quite often.
Spaghetti noodles, garlic, peperoncino, olive oil (+ shrimp)
I season the water with salt when boiling the noodles.
But I see everyone adding parsley on YouTube.
Does it make a big difference in taste whether you add it or not?
