Vehicle Dilemma (Big car vs. Small car?)

I am currently driving a Palisade 2.2 Diesel 8-seater.
Since my spouse and I live apart during the week, I mostly drive alone on weekdays... and since my kids are in middle school, we go on trips occasionally.
I am contemplating my next car..
1. A car like a Tucson (I don't really need a big car since I'm mostly alone anyway), and I can just rent one when needed.
2. Sorento or Santa Fe—thinking, "Shouldn't I at least drive something of this size??"
3. EV9—thinking, "Should I go for a big car anyway??"
I don't feel any discomfort driving the Palisade.
But... honestly, I'm only thinking about this because I don't actually need a large vehicle.
