Shouldn't the Nobel Prize create an Engineering Prize instead of an Economics Prize?

Of course, Nobel placed a huge emphasis on basic sciences,
but times have changed since then, and it is a fact that engineering is now making massive contributions to humanity.
To be honest, the Economics Prize, which was created regardless of Nobel's will, feels out of place.
When you see people receiving Nobel Prizes for things like encouraging speculation in stocks or derivatives, what would Nobel even think?
