I bought a PS Vita because I wanted to experience Trails in the Sky exactly like the original

I bought and installed all of 1, 2, and 3 on my Vita, but
I just couldn't make any progress, so I ended up buying the remake.
Even though my #1 all-time favorite game is SFC Dragon Quest V and I love and am good at classic games, for some reason, I just couldn't get into the old versions of Trails in the Sky.
To be precise, once I actually turn it on, it's fun, but I just can't bring myself to actually start it—you know what I mean, right? lol
Anyway, I pulled the trigger on the remake, but I have so many games backed up that I'm not sure when I'll ever get around to playing this.
