Rep. Yoon Jun-byeong (Democratic Party of Korea, Jeongeup-si/Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk), a member of the National Assembly's Agriculture, Food, Rural Affairs, Oceans and Fisheries Committee, announced on the 15th that he has introduced a partial amendment to the 'Act on the Execution of Sentences and the Treatment of Inmates' (commonly known as the Inmate Fund Management Improvement Act). The bill aims to limit the excessive bringing in of inmate funds and indiscriminate deposit/withdrawal requests, while allowing correctional officers to focus on their core duties.
