The problem with pharmacists is their lack of metacognition

Pharmacies are actually places that have no reason to exist.
Everything could be automated, yet they drain national health insurance finances by charging over 10,000 won just to say, "Take this after your meal."
The only reason they aren't being touched is that many pharmacists are local residents; if we just cut their health insurance funding and give the right to prescribe/dispense back to doctors like before, it's over.
It is widely accepted that Kim Dae-jung implemented the separation of prescribing and dispensing after receiving lobbying from pharmacists.
And pharmacists going on strike? We can just give the rights back to doctors.
In fact, in Western countries like the US, pharmacy schools are so unpopular they are ranked at the bottom, even in terms of admissions.
But what, you want to block non-face-to-face services? The world is better off without you.
If things become large-scale like Amazon Pharmacy or Coupang Pharmacy, they will all just go bankrupt one after another. lol
