Samsung's smartphone strategy is superior to China's

Samsung failed with the S22, so they pivoted toward software-based camera processing, AI-first features, and price suppression.
Chinese manufacturers went with a hardware-focused strategy centered on camera and battery specs. As a result, the gap in hardware specifications for cameras and batteries has become absurd.
However, in real-world usage and benchmarks, the gap between them and Samsung isn't as large as expected.
Their prices are similar to or slightly higher than Samsung's.
The rapid momentum of Chinese phones in the high-end market has come to a halt. Excluding their domestic market, they are barely making an entrance. Samsung's strategy was effective. They defended their home turf well. This is the exact opposite of Hyundai/Kia, which essentially handed over their home market to BYD.
