The fatigue of a recurring ending seen for decades after watching Made in Korea Season 2

From the days in high school when I used to watch the "Republic" drama series,
to now, as I approach fifty, nothing has changed. (Regardless of political parties, one specific figure always ends up as the ultimate winner)
For over 30 years, whenever a related movie or drama is released, the character modeled after Chun Doo-hwan
always ends with Chun Doo-hwan seizing power, laughing, and winning.
Every time a movie or drama starts, they claim it is fiction and a work of imagination,
but I don't understand why they consistently and honestly deliver nothing but the same sense of helplessness,
where the characters always lose to the military dictator.
At this rate, even if dozens or hundreds of years pass, I fear the message will only solidify that "the Chun Doo-hwan character always wins,"
which is truly exhausting and bitter.
Can't we at least see a cathartic reversal in fiction now?
From 1996 through to 2026, they start by saying it is fiction,
but with the same defeatist endings every time,
I worry that South Korea is being gaslighted into believing that only the military of that era wins, forever and for hundreds of years.
