Looking at how Cheongna Dome and Jamsil Dome in Korea are building hotel pools makes me lose all motivation .JPG

Something North America designed 40 years ago,
Japan completes in 2023,
and Korea completes in 2030.
And
whenever something new pops up, everyone rushes to
make it exactly the same.
The Texas home stadium dome doesn't have a hotel, and the Athletics' new Las Vegas dome doesn't have one either.
But they are building dome stadiums
as if you absolutely must build a hotel and a swimming pool whenever you build a dome.
The mindset itself is just so rigid and optimized for mass production lol
For Jamsil Dome, if they just removed the hotel and focused on maximizing seating,
they could easily pull 35,000 to 40,000 seats, but they are stubbornly insisting on a design with a hotel lol
They're going to build countless hotels on the surrounding MICE sites anyway.
