I have arrived in Mongolia.
My itinerary is in Ulaanbaatar...
It's not the Mongolia with flowing Milky Ways that I had imagined.
The traffic is insane; it takes over 30 minutes to move just 4km by car.
Exhaust fumes
Dust
All the cars are covered in dust..
My rhinitis had improved a lot, but after just 10 minutes in the city, my nose is running like crazy.
My throat feels scratchy.
There are quite a few pretty women on the streets.
CU, GS25 every 20 meters..
There's even an E-mart with a No Brand section.
Most of the clerks can speak Korean.
Well, anyway, that's how it is—
Cars are lined up for hundreds of meters at gas stations because there's no fuel,
and people are pouring out into the streets for demonstrations.
Because of the war, there's a shortage of everything; fuel prices have doubled, and electricity bills have risen to a level that feels like it's killing people..
You really have to come out here to realize how great South Korea is..
So, yeah, that's the situation.
I don't have any damn landscape photos. No.
