Brief reviews of 3 Korean movies for Chuseok (The Intern, Tazza, Assassins)

1. The Intern
Due to the nature of being a remake, it's just "as good as expected"—nothing more, nothing less.
It's not bad enough to criticize, but it's so mediocre and bland.
Since there's nothing new, you might feel like, "Why watch something I've already seen?"
Han So-hee is incredibly beautiful.
2. Tazza
Even though there is an original, the story didn't necessarily need to be part of the Tazza series.
A plain revenge drama. Noh Jae-won's acting is a bit too forced and excessive.
Miyoshi Ayaka is incredibly beautiful. She's only on screen briefly, but massive thanks for that.
3. Assassins
Setting aside left-wing or right-wing politics, it just feels too old-fashioned.
It has that vibe of early 2010s films like The Attorney or Namyang-dong 1985.
It's a very "cringey" sensibility geared toward those in their 60s and older.
The acting is good across the board and there are tons of cameos. Good to watch with your parents.
These were strictly my personal opinions.
