Push for regional mini-medical schools

That will clearly cost a lot of money, but I wonder what difference establishing mini-medical schools will actually make for regional healthcare. To produce proper doctors, you need excellent faculty and a high volume of cases, from basic studies to practical training. Do you really think local residents will entrust their health to those mini-medical schools just because they were built? It will end up being nothing more than a way for local politicians to create achievements for themselves.
