Looking at my work logs from two years ago, AI progress is incredible

I wrote this in my personal work log exactly two years ago:
There isn't a single AI that can take two empty Excel files, each containing a single integer, and if I attach them and ask it to read the numbers, add them, and provide the sum... I wonder which will be developed faster: a robot that does the dishes or an AI that can do that calculation...
This was the level of AI two years ago. It's truly massive progress.
