Even doctors can be scammers

I went to a proctology clinic because of hemorrhoids.
From the very first consultation, they told me I definitely need surgery, even if it's not immediately.
After looking it up, I found that hemorrhoids go up to stage 4, and while surgery is needed from stage 3, it's not always mandatory (I was stage 2).
I was bleeding continuously even while taking medication, but I think it might have been because I skipped the medicine for a few days in the middle.
The doctor didn't even give me basic advice like eating plenty of fiber, taking sitz baths, or drinking lots of water; instead, they only gave me short 5-day prescriptions for my first two visits.
On my third visit, I asked for a longer prescription, and they provided it, but they kept bringing everything back to surgery.
I found out there are non-surgical or minimally invasive options like ointments, injections, lasers, and bands, rather than just surgery.
I got the feeling that they only talk about surgery because it's highly profitable, and they either don't provide helpful treatment advice or do it half-heartedly. Even though they said I should take medicine for a few days even after the bleeding stops, the fact that they gave me such short prescriptions made me feel like they were trying to prevent me from getting better.
When I specifically asked for certain treatments or longer prescriptions, the doctor seemed annoyed or slightly flustered.
I went to a doctor who supposedly had long experience and prioritized non-surgical methods with a conscience, but in the end, it was all a lie.
I felt like if a doctor doesn't even cover the basics, they just view patients as suckers.
