Well, having too many events in the Asian Games is both a problem and a solution

‌To be honest, I won't mention specific sports because I'm afraid it might come across as derogatory, even if that's not my intention...
But the way the Asian Games events are, how should I put it,
just keep increasing without any breaks,
and some of those events leave you questioning their place,
is a major factor that makes us reconsider the nature of the Asian Games itself.
It's only because everyone is being cautious with their words right now.
It's about the prestige of the tournament, or perhaps its status.
I believe that as time goes on, the Asian Games are drifting further away
from the kind of tournament we once envisioned,
which is a very unfavorable trend.
Anyway, I watched today's parliamentary audit closely;
while there was a noticeable difference in the decisiveness of the Ministers of Defense and Culture, Sports and Tourism,
it seems almost certain that the current military service exemptions for the Asian Games will not be maintained in the future.
I suspect there will be many changes in how the tournament is perceived moving forward. Phew~
