Morning Mindset and the Words of the Buddha

‌"Ekamsa Sutra, Ekamsa Agama, Chapter 12
"When the eastern sky brightens and a new morning begins,
a wise person should deeply engrave three virtuous intentions
within their heart. First, the resolve that through my words and actions
today, I shall cause harm to no one; second, the commitment to practice
diligently so that the mind is not stained by greed or anger;
and third, the vow to extend a compassionate heart to every
connection I encounter. On this morning, marking the end of a month
and a new beginning, if one fully reflects upon past faults,
cleanses the mind, and practices the righteous teachings,
the path they walk will always be free of error,
peace of mind will arrive, and incomparable great blessings
will surely follow."
