Children from poor families often resent their parents.
I don't view it in a positive light when children from poor families resent their parents, but I do understand it.
If you had stunning looks like Jung Woo-sung or an extraordinary brain like Kang Yong-seok, you could live an interesting life even if you were born with a "dirt spoon," but the vast majority of those born into poverty have average looks and academic performance below average.
In dramas, poor parents often claim that while rich parents have money, their home atmosphere is bleak and authoritarian; however, when watching variety shows featuring "gold spoons," the children look so bright that it makes those from poor backgrounds feel like they've been deceived.
If you compare poor parents to rich parents, their economic power is obviously incomparable.
Looks? In most cases, the wealthy also have better looks, thanks to the power of beauty treatments and plastic surgery.
Education? The academic backgrounds of poor parents are often lacking as well.
Family background? Unless a grandfather lived well and then squandered everything, there's no reason for them to be poor.
Occupation? Children from poor families are often ashamed to tell people what their parents do for a living.
And if you ask whether the personality of poor parents is better than that of rich parents? Even that isn't true.
That is why the hearts of children from poor families break. "Why was I born into a family like this?"
The vast majority of poor parents are like "bad kings" if we were to compare it to the dynastic era.
