Linux is now more convenient than Windows.
At work, I have no choice but to use Windows 11 due to domain management and several development tools,
but at home, I only use Linux.
There is nothing it can't do.
Even Steam games all work on CachyOS.
Also, the default fonts look much prettier than Windows.
Regarding hardware support, with recent kernels like 6.x and 7.x, there is almost nothing that requires separate driver installation.
(Of course, it gets a bit headache-inducing if it fails to recognize specific hardware.)
Since the license is free, there is even less of a burden.
In the past, there were many performance issues with X Window, but these days it feels snappier than Windows.
Something like CachyOS is tuned for performance, so I don't even have to worry about anything separately.
