I have a question... why isn't there a special counsel investigation into this landmine incident?

During the Marine Chae case, the Democratic Party protested and made a lot of noise about calling for a special counsel investigation into the death of a soldier,
so why are they remaining silent about this landmine incident?
I am writing this because I am genuinely curious about the reason.
