[MLB Trip] Has anyone been to St. Louis or Detroit, USA?

‌Finally, 1x years into marriage
I managed to get permission for a solo trip / vacation hahahaha
I am planning a one-week trip to watch MLB next year in April or May
- Since I'm scheduling it for April-May, it might be difficult to watch the NBA, as it will likely be the playoffs season
I can already imagine how expensive the ticket prices will be ㅠㅠ
For now, I'm looking at Chicago In / Out
- This is the cheapest option from my area
It's my first time visiting since about 20 years ago, and I still remember the Riverwalk
I visited during the winter back then and almost died from the cold haha. Fortunately, it's a better time this time around.
So, I want to visit nearby cities for about 2 nights and 3 days.....
St. Louis: Will I finally get to see Ozzie Smith? It's one of the bucket list items for a long-time fan
Detroit: I want to see the Tigers, and if the Red Wings make the playoffs? Then I'd definitely want to see them, even if I have to pay a bit more
They haven't been a strong team lately so it might be tough, but you never know...
Even watching on YouTube, neither St. Louis nor Detroit seem like cities with a huge amount to see...
Which one would be better to go to? Including sightseeing....
For Detroit, aside from the Tigers, there's really just the Red Wings. Ah~ I also want to at least check out Little Caesars Arena haha
