Team Jung Cheong-rae: The reason why the pro-Moon faction is vehemently opposing Kim Ji-yong's appointment as Head of the Central Investigation Agency

Watching his confirmation hearing, I personally thought he seemed a bit dim-witted and wasn't a big fan, but
I understand why Team Jung Cheong-rae and the pro-Moon speakers or lawmakers are opposing him with such ridiculous excuses.
Unlike during their previous administration, Kim Ji-yong is not someone they can easily control or someone they have personal ties with.
President Lee Jae-myung likely chose him intentionally for that reason.
If the Head of the Central Investigation Agency is someone outside of their influence, they feel uneasy right now.
The Democratic Party will also face various investigations in the future, starting from Shincheonji to all sorts of corruption cases.
In that sense, I hope they appoint him for now. The Democratic Party is also an object of reform.
