Since the BOK kept signaling back-to-back hikes, I naturally expected a hike, so I sold my position and was getting ready to buy back lower.
But then, the futures suddenly started going up.
"Oh, it's a freeze..."
I thought the market sentiment was shifting,
so I flipped my position and bought,
but then the price started dropping.
Since there were expectations of a freeze, I thought people were buying to profit from an expected hawkish press conference,
but it turns out some damn reporter from Edaily
had released false news saying it was a freeze.
I lost 60 million won in just 10 seconds...
