Wouldn't it be better to just shave it all off if you have hair loss?

Rather than growing out the remaining parts awkwardly and looking like Heihachi,
wouldn't it be better to just shave it all off cleanly or go for a buzz cut?
I don't get why people insist on trying to hide it... it's so obvious that they have hair loss..
It would actually look much cleaner if they just shaved it like Koo Jun-yup or went for a short cut like Won Bin's "ahjussi" style.
