It seems like there aren't enough police officers in Jeju Island

What this incident makes me think about is
that I don't think I've seen that many police officers while traveling around Jeju Island.
Moreover, people don't just stay in downtown areas where public safety is easy to maintain; they travel all over the place to see nature.
So I did a quick search, and it turns out it is the smallest organization among the 18 metropolitan and provincial police agencies nationwide, second only to the Sejong Police Agency.
The population per police officer is 325, which is higher than Seoul (308) or Jeonnam (313), but even so, it doesn't feel extremely overwhelming.
The problem is that this calculation is based on Jeju's population of 700,000.
