I went on a blind date, but I think they're rejecting me, right?

We talked well throughout the blind date, but we didn't end up going for a second round.
The first round at the izakaya came to an end.
We talked for about two and a half hours.
The fact that we live far apart from each other was a downside, and while we communicated well, I'm not sure if there was any romantic chemistry.
Right after we parted ways, I sent a message first saying it was nice to meet them and that I'd like to see them again.
They replied saying, "Let's meet if there's a chance."
This seems a bit negative; am I right?
