The kids were crying quite a lot on the way to Hawaii and Turkey
When we went to Hawaii, our family was traveling independently, but there was a large group of about 10 people spanning three generations sitting right in front of and behind us. They kept getting up and moving around constantly. One of the three or four lower elementary school kids was sitting behind me, and they were incessantly whining, talking, and kicking my seat—I almost threw my back out lol.
I endured it until about halfway through the flight, then I turned around, smiled brightly, and asked, "Do you want some chocolate?" while complimenting them on being cute. Only then did the parents sitting next to them start making them be quiet ㅜㅜ
However, in the rows next to us where I couldn't see, there was the constant crying of an infant lol. I just endured it, thinking the parents must be having a hard time.
When we went to Turkey, the entire plane was a package tour group, and there were quite a few elementary and preschool-aged children. Fortunately, there were no infants.
Luckily, they spent the flight well while watching tablets.
But later, at a hillside cafe in Istanbul, I saw a brother and sister around 4th or 5th grade playing roughly and wrestling; they were being so rude and violent that they almost hit the people around them, yet their parents just stood there with their hands behind their backs. Wow, seeing that happen abroad, I felt so embarrassed for them.
