I recently mentioned to an acquaintance that Busan seems like an unexpectedly great place

Since it's where I've been living all this time, I took it for granted and didn't really notice,
but after traveling to other places, an acquaintance and I agreed that we've only recently realized its charms.
With mountains, rivers, and the sea, you can go out and wander whenever you feel stifled;
public transportation like buses and subways is well-established, so you can go anywhere;
with Busan Port where you can take ships,
and Gimhae Airport—the GOAT of accessibility—you can easily travel to nearby places like Japan;
there are many delicious restaurants;
there are plenty of places to shop, such as department stores, outlets, and traditional markets;
there are famous festivals;
and you can see diverse sides of the city, from old neighborhoods that preserve the past to modern-feeling areas.
One thing that is a bit disappointing is the lack of performance venues. It's great that the Busan Concert Hall has opened for classical music, but I hope an arena-class or dome-style venue will be built someday.
I personally love Busan.
The photo was taken while walking around Haeundae when I spotted the sweet osmanthus I had only heard about; I had only ever seen the golden osmanthus before.
