People who blame themselves saying life is just luck will eventually be punished.
In terms of life difficulty,
assuming the premise of being born as a human,
50% are Chinese or Indian, so you avoided that first.
Next, you avoided North Korea, a fellow least-developed nation acting like a slave state.
You also avoided Russia, Ukraine, the Middle East, and Africa, where hundreds of thousands are being painfully massacred on battlefields.
And yet, you have all your limbs, eyes, nose, and ears intact,
you are a citizen of the Republic of Korea,
and at this very moment, you are writing posts in a forum, laughing and having fun,
worrying about what to eat for breakfast?
Even these days, just going to a convenience store, you can get high-quality meat side dishes for just a few thousand won.
(There are hundreds of millions of people worldwide who cannot even manage one decent meal a day.)
To be honest,
based on the current global population of 8 billion,
you are part of the top 10% "celestial dragons."
Despite this,
you compare yourself to those more successful, feel envious,
and say things like "life is just luck..."
while blaming yourself and falling into depression?
That is truly something that deserves punishment,
and misfortune will surely come your way.
Moreover, the majority of people who say such things are those who don't work and just idle around all day,
even though that itself is living like a "celestial dragon."
