Regarding the waste of broadcasting airwaves by broadcasters during sports coverage

I understand that the three terrestrial channels, TV Chosun, and SPOTV all hold broadcasting rights. Since this isn't even the Olympics but just the Asian Games qualifiers, isn't scheduling overlapping broadcasts not only a waste of airwaves but also a potential infringement on viewers' right to choose their channels? I could understand it for the finals of popular sports or major games, but for the rest of the matches, they all seem to compete during peak hours—this channel has that game, that channel has that game... It would be much better if they distributed the coverage by sport, like they used to.
