Myung Tae-kyun, who 'provided free opinion polls to Yoon,' to be released on bail today
Myung Tae-kyun, a 'political broker' currently imprisoned after receiving a prison sentence in the first instance for providing free opinion polls to Yoon Suk-yeol, will be released today.
The Seoul High Court's 7th Criminal Division (Presiding Judge Koo Hoe-geun) granted bail to Myung yesterday. The conditions for bail include a 50 million won deposit and a prohibition on contacting parties involved in the case or conducting media interviews.
Previously, the first-instance court sentenced Myung to 1 year and 6 months in prison and ordered his immediate detention in court, citing concerns regarding the destruction of evidence.
