[OKC] The hurdle for 3 consecutive FM titles is truly high

Only 3 people in the 80-year history of the NBA—even Jordan and LeBron couldn't do it.
If you exclude the ancient monsters, it's essentially just Bird.....




While 2 championships + 2 FMVs are more important than FM,
to aim for 5 consecutive First Team selections and 3 consecutive FMs,
you'd first need to assume the team finishes 1st in the entire league, and then you'd have to crush it with sheer impact to even have a chance.....
You'd need a volume like a 180 Club scoring leader (32-33 pts) with 7-8 assists, 5+ rebounds, 1.5+ steals, and 1.0+ blocks, and your secondary stats would naturally have to be within the top 3 in almost everything.
The current streak of 20+ point games would also need to be maximized, like hitting 200+ such games in a season if possible.
Anyway, since the competitors include Wemby and DeRozan, if you increase offensive volume and back it up with team success, it's almost a lock.
Jokic is great across all primary and secondary stats, and Doncic produces massive volume (likely scoring leader).
On top of that, even Klay after moving teams is putting up stats.
But I think voters will have very high standards for the "Yo-Kum-St" trio, so adding an FM won't be easy. It's been quite a while since a player won an FM after age 30.....
