This is so frustrating
Seriously, how much more fact-checking do I have to do?
Since when did the Rebuilding Korea Party start criticizing Kim Yong-nam by claiming they've been supporting former Rep. Kim Yong-nam all this time??
Setting aside Kim Yong-nam's personal corruption or whatever,
why would Rep. Shin Jang-sik oppose this?
After the Cho Kuk scandal broke,
when Cho Kuk was being lashed by all the media and the public,
Rhyu Si-min appeared,
and as public opinion formed that the treatment of Cho Kuk was too harsh,
both sides were in a tight standoff.
Back then, in various debates and broadcasts,
Kim Yong-nam was the one leading the charge against Cho Kuk.
As if it were his specialty,
he kept blathering on about how Cho Kuk's private equity fund was illegal,
how it was used for Cho Kuk's presidential campaign funds, and so on.
Does the past just disappear??
Talking about someone like Kim Yong-nam joining a party or forming an alliance,
and then putting him in the position of Chairman of the Policy Committee—
it really seems like Kim Min-seok is insulting Cho Kuk, doesn't it?
If I were to say the words that Rep. Shin Jang-sik couldn't bring himself to utter out loud,
it would be: "Politics is truly a piece of shit."
