It's actually funny that military exemptions are given for the Olympics and Asian Games

I'll set aside the debate of whether giving military exemptions for the Olympics or Asian Games is even right in the first place.
If we are going to grant military exemptions anyway, it makes more sense to tie them to the World Cup and the Asian Cup for football.
One might argue whether it's right to make an exception for football when the exemptions are tied to the tournaments themselves,
but football is the only sport with age restrictions applied.
It's practically a farce that they are offering exemptions for U-23 tournaments.
It is ironic that there isn't a single tournament where everyone can participate without age restrictions.
