It has been revealed that all four individuals who broke into a domestic Chinese restaurant named after China's top leader in the middle of the night, sprayed lacquer, and scattered a substance suspected to be pesticide, are Chinese nationals.
They fled to their home country through Incheon International Airport immediately after the crime, and the police have decided to track them down through international mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.
The Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 27th that they have identified four Chinese men in their 20s to 40s, including a man in his 40s, referred to as 'A', who is suspected of joint property damage and other charges.

It was found that they had entered and stayed in the country on a visa-free basis between one month and one week before the crime. Police believe they systematically planned the crime after pre-identifying that the restaurant would not be operating during the holiday period.
