Other countries haven't been able to host the World Tour Finals for years; it keeps being held in China.
The prize money for the winner was $240,000 last year and $280,000 this year, so other countries lack the financial power.
Singles winner prize money for 1000-level tournaments:
China Open: $140,000
All England, Indonesia, Malaysia: $101,500
Singles winner prize money for 750-level tournaments:
China Masters: increased from $80,500 last year to $87,500
Japan, Denmark, France, India: $66,500
Singapore Open: approx. $80,000 (starting next year, top-tier players won't participate in the Singapore Open, and the Hong Kong Open will be promoted to 750 level)
500, 300, and 100-level tournaments range from a few thousand dollars to about $30,000
