The only way the Park We controversy will end.txt

The fastest way for the Park We controversy to die down is probably for a "next victim" to appear.
Once a new target emerges for people to pour their anger and hatred into,
many of those currently tearing Park We apart will simply move on to the next target.
I believe the reason why this doesn't end easily—even when articles come out stating the school violence allegations were untrue or when explanations are provided—is similar.
People have already experienced the sense of catharsis and pleasure from watching someone fall,
and those emotions don't suddenly vanish just because the facts have been clarified.
If you start scrutinizing someone's past words and actions as if looking through a microscope, how many people would actually be flawless?
There are almost no absolute villains or absolute saints.
Just because Park We has lived overcoming a disability doesn't mean he has to be a saint,
and if he has done something wrong, he should be criticized for that specific action.
The problem is the attitude of going beyond criticism to completely bury a person,
feeling satisfied only by watching and mocking them as they fall into ruin.
That is by no means a sense of justice.
