What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL means one shipper's cargo fills a dedicated container. LCL means your cargo shares a container with other shippers' goods, consolidated at origin and separated at destination. LCL costs less for small volumes but adds handling steps, transit time and damage risk.
