There are so many people looking at their phones while waiting at traffic lights

I took a day off to go to a local clinic for physical therapy.
The distance was probably less than 2km.
I had to pass through 8 traffic lights,
but the timing was terrible,
so I ended up waiting at 7 of them.
But every single time I was waiting,
the cars in front of me wouldn't move even after the light changed.
I honked twice,
and then the car in front of me honked three times to get them moving.
Neither I nor the car in front of me honked particularly early;
it's just that they wouldn't move even when the light changed.
I counted one, two, three, four, five, and then I honked.
The car in front of me was actually being quite patient.
They just sat there even while I was counting to five,
and just as I was about to honk again, the car in front honked.
I think I waited for more than 10 seconds.
Both of them were actually being quite decent.
Since I'm a guy from Busan,
I can't count past five.
Anyway,
people looking at their phones while waiting at traffic lights
are incredibly annoying.
