Are idols from the provinces fewer in number than those from the metropolitan area?

The population ratio between the metropolitan area and non-metropolitan areas is about half and half.
Since RESCENE consists of 2 members from the metropolitan area, 2 from non-metropolitan areas, and 1 from Japan, it seems to reflect Korea's population ratio very accurately.
However, there seems to be a perception that they are idols from the provinces.
