I am going crazy because of my driver's hook shot

Machine translated

I had a fade ball flight for three years, but since I started seriously working on my draw this year,
I am really suffering from the trial and error process.
From January to July of this year, I forced a draw by compensating with my old "out-to-in path" + "strong hook grip."
Anyway, I succeeded in achieving the draw I always wanted,
and I felt satisfied whenever I created a beautiful shot (e.g., overcoming a left-side obstacle).
But at some point, pull shots started appearing constantly.
They just pop out unexpectedly, it's unreal.
From what I've gathered, that can happen with the combination of an out-to-in path and a hook grip.
Another major factor was that whenever I held a hook grip, my right fingers would press directly against the shaft,
causing severe pain.
I felt like getting acupuncture at an oriental clinic every day just to play golf was not humanly possible,
so I eventually gave up the hook grip.
----------------------------------------------
Since August, I have returned to a neutral grip.
It felt awkward at first, but it was much more stable than the old hook grip, so it was fine.
The problem is that with a neutral grip, the draw doesn't come out as I want.
I tried to change it to something closer to an in-to-out path by rotating my upper body significantly.
I believe this is actually what coaches recommend.
When my swing path became ambiguous, I would get fades, straights, etc.
It was the first time in a long while I saw my old ball flights. Still, as I kept trying,
I managed to stabilize it into an optimized state, and about 2 to 3 weeks passed.
The problem is that recently, the hook shot mentioned in the title has started appearing.
It is distinctly different from the old pull shots.
With a pull shot, you realize you hit it wrong immediately because it flies left right away,
but my recent hook flies well for a while and then suddenly hooks sharply to the left.
Of course, when my balance gets even worse,
the dreaded "banana slice/hook" (pig's tail) shots also come out aimlessly.
---------------------------------------------------------
I looked up YouTube or AI, and the following solutions were listed:
- Relax the excessive tension in the right hand
- Try changing to a more upright backswing
- Try lowering the tee height
The others didn't really resonate with me, so I tried lowering the tee height.
At the driving range, it hits well.
I don't get many of those hook shots mentioned above.
Maybe 1 out of 10?
But as soon as I go out to the field, they appear as if nothing ever changed.
Out of 14 driver shots, at least 4 to 5 are hook shots.
I went out for two consecutive days of rounds recently, but I can't even write a review.
Since the driver issue isn't resolved and nothing has ultimately changed,
I don't feel any reason to write a review.
I believed it was solved by returning to a neutral grip,
so I am extremely flustered.
------------------------------------------------------
What's even more absurd is that my Wood / Utility / Iron / Wedge / Putter, etc.,
all behave perfectly.
For example, on a Par 4, if my driver turns into a "pig's tail" and ruins everything,
I have over 200m left to the green.
I'm even unsure if I can hit the ball properly since it's buried in the rough.
But when I blast it with a W3, it lands on the green like magic.
Then the reaction from my playing partners, including the caddy, is always similar:
"Wow, you're really good with woods.
The driver should be easier than that..."
It was rewarding at first, but later it feels like they are teasing me,
which makes it even more annoying @.@
-------------------------------------------------------
So, if my driver stays alive, I get a good score.
But if the driver dies? No comment.
Since my driver has become terrible, the game itself isn't fun anymore.
Even though I spend 50 out of my 60 minutes of practice on it...
