I guess commentators don't help much with viewership ratings

Looking at the Asian Games basketball...
While listening to the Jung Woo-young and Cho Hyun-il duo, if I switch to another channel, the commentary is almost at a level where it's hard to even listen, yet SBS is in last place for viewership.
It doesn't seem like Kim Jong-kyu or Ha Seung-jin have that much name value either.
Almost everyone around me watches only SBS; I wonder if I'm just part of a minor group.
