Why do the "New Jae-myungs" check on Cho Kuk so much while simultaneously ignoring him?

Shouldn't they be paying more attention to Jung Chung-rae rather than Cho Kuk?
Strangely, I feel like they have a complex regarding Cho Kuk; I wonder if it's an order from the "trash bin" lol
