Actually, company dinners have almost disappeared at my company too.

I've been with my company for about 20 years now...;
Lately, company dinners at my workplace have decreased significantly.
The gender ratio is about 7:3, so it's a male-dominated environment,
but even in my team, we mostly just do lunch or something occasional.
As for official(?) evening dinners involving alcohol,
I feel like we only have them maybe 3 or 4 times a year..
Back when I first joined, several times a week,
on the way home, the department head would call my name,
saying, "Hey [Name], let's go grab a bite~" and if I followed them out,
we never once just ate a meal and went home. lol
I think the social atmosphere has changed,
and there's a growing trend of prioritizing work-life balance,
and above all, I wonder if COVID-19 was the final blow..
Anyway, it feels like the landscape of office life has changed a lot in many ways.
