If RESCENE hadn't charted upward, I.O.I's "Suddenly" might have set a Melon record...

‌

RESCENE's "Love Attack" rose to #1 in early July, fluctuated between #1 and #3, and then settled at #1.
It dropped briefly during BIGBANG's comeback but reclaimed the #1 spot again.
"I.O.I - Suddenly" had been at #1 for a long time before "Love Attack" climbed up, and if RESCENE hadn't had this upward surge,
it probably would have just dropped to #2 briefly during BIGBANG's comeback and remained at #1 even now.
I thought they might set a record by reuniting after 10 years, but RESCENE feels like a disaster-level phenomenon...
Because no one could have imagined a song released two years ago would climb this high.
But I haven't listened to "Suddenly" yet, so I'm not sure if the song is actually good...
