Won't there be a major correction in the US market around the midterm elections?

‌Whether the Republicans win or the Democrats win,
it seems like they are currently pouring out nonsensical campaign promises just looking toward the election.
And it looks like there is some anticipation building up because of those promises.
Not to mention government bonds,
even though the only thing said was that there wouldn't be further interest rate hikes, the Nasdaq is breaking through previous highs;
it's a somewhat questionable situation.
