The Japanese K-pop market is indeed large

This data is from a few years ago, but it looks like the market share is even higher than English/American pop?
It's striking that only Korea and Japan have such an absolute dominance of their own domestic pop.
I feel like we used to listen to English/American pop quite a lot in Korea back in the day, too.
