How does it compare to Troy?

A colleague of mine was raving about it.
They said the three hours weren't boring at all.
To be honest, I don't really watch many movies set in that era,
and I'm not particularly interested in ancient Western history.
Thinking about it, the only thing that comes to mind is
the Brad Pitt movie, Troy.
How does it compare to that film?
