This old man in the latter half of My Sassy Girl... looking at him now, it makes no sense

You all probably remember him... He's Gyeon-woo, who came from 30 years in the future...
He appears in the latter half of the movie and has a short conversation with Jun Ji-hyun.
But since 25 years have passed since My Sassy Girl was released,
Cha Tae-hyun, who played Gyeon-woo, will be the age of that old man in 5 years.
I just can't see Cha Tae-hyun ever looking like that.... lol
Back then, I thought, "Well, it's 30 years in the future, so of course he'd be an old man~"
But looking at it now, they used an actor who was way too old.
